I think what I have is some sort of scent box, and I dated it to 1839, with possible maker Thomas Dicks, London... But what I'm mostly interested in knowing about is that royal looking insignia on the top. Would anyone know which person or family that represents. I am very intrigued to know if it belonged to someone with royal blood...
